What is Video Voice Translate?

An Android app that translates the speech and subtitles in videos. It has four features: video voice translation (AI subtitles for videos on your phone), subtitle translation over any video app, real-time voice translation and AI dubbing.

Is it free?

Yes, it is free to download and try, and no sign-up is needed. New users get 60 minutes of subtitle translation, 5 minutes of voice translation and 5 minutes of AI dubbing. Every day: 1 free video translation, plus 1 more for each short ad (up to 3). Rewarded ads also add 20 minutes of subtitle translation (up to 10 times a day) and 2 minutes of voice translation (once a day). The task center, invites and redeem codes give more, and offline voice recognition is free and unlimited.

What does VIP include?

Unlimited subtitle translation over other apps, no ads, 10 video translations a day of up to 3 hours each, priority in the queue, and voice minutes with the monthly (30 minutes) and yearly (3 hours) plans. Dub minutes are not included. VIP is weekly, monthly or yearly; prices and any free trial are shown in Google Play for your country, and you can cancel anytime there. A separate remove-ads subscription is also available.

What are time packs?

One-time purchases, no subscription: voice packs (30 minutes to 24 hours) for real-time voice translation and dub packs (10 to 180 minutes) for AI dubbing. Pack minutes never expire.

Which languages are supported?

Video translation: speech in 100 languages with auto-detect, translated into 130+ languages. AI dubbing: 80 languages. Subtitle translation over other apps reads Latin, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Devanagari text. Offline voice recognition: about 50 languages. The app interface is available in 140 languages.

Is there a watermark?

No, never, on the free plan too.

How long can a video be?

Up to 60 minutes on the free plan and up to 3 hours with VIP. AI dubbing works on videos up to 30 minutes.

Can I translate a video from a YouTube or TikTok link?

No, the app works with video files saved on your phone. For videos playing in another app, use real-time voice translation or subtitle translation.

Can I translate an SRT file?

Yes, with our free online subtitle translator in any browser: .srt and .vtt files, 130+ languages, original timings kept, no sign-up.

Is there an iPhone or PC version?

The app is for Android (7.0 or newer). The online subtitle file translator works in any browser.

What happens to my videos?

For video translation only the audio is uploaded and it is deleted after processing; the picture stays on your phone. Subtitle results are kept on our server for up to 180 days so they appear in your history. Screen and voice translation history stays on your phone. Subtitle translation over other apps only reads the area you select and uses no keyboard or accessibility access.

How do I delete my account?

If you are signed in: Me › Settings › Account › Delete account (cancel any active subscription in Google Play first). You can also request deletion on the delete account page.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Google Play: open Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions and cancel Video Voice Translate.
